Liquid Filled Mouse Mats

A welded mat containing two or three non-mixing coloured liquids creating an ever changing, stress relieving display. the AquaMat Max contains inserts and extra liquid to allow the inserts to move freely.

Composition

Clear top with a surface chosen for its good mouse performance and ability to provide string, bright colours. The mat is strongly welded along the edge enclosing a sunflower oil and glycerine gel. The liquids are coloured using food or shampoo dyes. Glitter may also be added to the liquids for a sparkling effect. A small air bubble is always present which behaves like a third liquid. Each mat is carefully checked and pressure tested for leaks prior to dispatch.

Print

Undersurface screen print or offset litho print either above or below the liquid for a more subtle effect.

Liquid Colours

Colours can only be matched roughly and do vary from batch to batch. The strength of the colour at any point depends on the thickness of the liquid and the colour shade will be affected by the colour of the other liquid, for example, a yellow liquid above a blue shows up as green.
A third liquid can also be added in an extra layer.

Proofs

To minimise the risk of any misunderstanding, customers are advised to have a proof made prior to full production. Special shapes can be made without difficulty, although sharp bends and points should be avoided to minimise the the risk of weakening the weld, we will be able to advise you.

Packaging

Bulk packed but can be individually packed in white envelopes which can be personalised.

Recommendations

The beauty of this mat lies in the ever changing pattern created by the liquids. If printing under the liquids, use light coloured liquids - it is easier to see the printed design. If a light coloured print is to be placed above the liquids, choose a darker oil.
